The Cheapest Isn’t Always Best

I have a guest post up today over at It’s Frugal Being Green. The post is about the need to sometimes spend a little more to get products that either work better or last longer. Carrie has a great site; I’d encourage you to check it out.

Seven things you won’t find on my About page . . .

1. I love to read. I’m a magazine and blog junkie. I also love both fiction and nonfiction. When I need a guaranteed, carefree, easy-reading, good time I always turn to Janet Evanovich.

2. I’m 37.

3. I can’t stand the word “gelatinous.”

4. As a result of a bizarre turn of events recently, I learned I’m not half bad at Dodgeball. One go ’round was enough for me, though.

5. I’m enjoying blogging more than I thought possible.

6. I also enjoy sand, water, and waves.

7. My husband, to whom I’ve been married for 13 years in November, may be related to MacGyver. He’s extremely handy and creative.
