It’s not my birthday, but yesterday was my mother’s birthday. I called to wish her a happy birthday before going online to get some work done and catch up on my feed reader. When I clicked over to read Nicki’s latest post at Domestic Cents I learned that it was her birthday, too. Then I signed into Twitter and saw that Diane McEachern, author of Big Green Purse, was having a birthday yesterday, too. I do hope it was a good day for all of them.
Here are a few posts that caught my eye this week:
Heather at The Greenest Dollar wrote a great post about Random Acts of Kindness that’s really had me thinking.
In an effort to beautify their cities, guerrilla gardeners are chucking seed balls into abandoned lots. From Green Living Ideas.
Some good information about quantity surcharges on groceries from The Simple Dollar.
The Good Human says that Living Near Trees Improves Your Health.
We’re celebrating my mother’s birthday today, so I’m off to get things ready. My daughters love a birthday party (especially the cake!).
